Accompanying programme

Demonstration of firefighting equipment, virtual reality and a vehicle rollover simulator. Find out what visitors can look forward to.

The extrication competition will not be the only reason to attend. Throughout the competition, an accompanying programme for the public will run alongside the event, offering visitors a different insight into the work of firefighters.

Visitors will be able to take a close look at firefighting equipment, experience a road traffic accident through virtual reality, or see for themselves what happens to vehicle occupants when a car rolls over.

The accompanying programme will run alongside the extrication competition, offering not only an interesting spectacle but also the opportunity to safely experience some of these situations first-hand.

Firefighting Equipment Displays

What does the equipment used by firefighters look like? As part of the accompanying programme, visitors will have the opportunity to see firefighting vehicles and equipment on display up close.

For visitors of all ages, this is an opportunity to get closer to the equipment than is normally possible and to learn more about the tools and equipment firefighters use in their work.

Virtual Reality – Experience an Emergency Situation

Modern technology is used not only for training emergency responders, but also for educating the public. At the virtual reality station, visitors will put on VR headsets and safely experience situations in which it may be important to react correctly and quickly.

First on the Scene

What would you do if you were the first to arrive at a road traffic accident?

The First on the Scene application simulates real-life emergency situations on the roads. In virtual reality, visitors find themselves directly at the scene of an incident and must decide how to respond.

The aim is to teach visitors how to react appropriately, call for help, carry out basic first-aid procedures and understand that, in a real accident, the right decision in the first few minutes can significantly affect its outcome.

Emergency Line

Calling for help may seem simple. In a stressful situation, however, it may not be easy to quickly explain what has happened, where you are and what kind of assistance you need.

Visitors will therefore also have the opportunity to experience a situation involving communication with an emergency line operator and remind themselves what information is important when reporting an emergency.

3 Metres for Life

Sometimes, seemingly minor details can determine how quickly emergency crews can reach the scene. The 3 Metres for Life prevention project highlights the problem of improper parking, which can prevent or significantly delay firefighters from reaching the scene of an emergency.

Large emergency vehicles need sufficient space to pass safely. Three metres of clear road width can make the difference in a critical situation, determining how quickly help can reach those who need it .

The main message of the project is therefore simple:

When a life is at stake, there is no time to move your car.

Přijďte fandit i objevovat

Doprovodný program nabídne možnost strávit na místě soutěže více času a poznat práci hasičů i z jiné stránky.

Zatímco na soutěžní ploše budou nejlepší týmy bojovat s náročnými scénáři vyprošťování, v doprovodné části si můžete prohlédnout hasičskou techniku, vyzkoušet virtuální realitu nebo usednout do simulátoru autonehody.

Přijďte fandit soutěžním týmům a zároveň si vyzkoušet, jak byste si v některých krizových situacích poradili vy.
